ENTRY#2 - SELF LOVE

<3 SELF-LOVE <3

"Guess who's back, back again. Shady's back tell a friend.."
Hey! Excuse for my Eminem reference but yeah! I'm back! Thank you once again for  everyone who gave a little bit of their precious time to read my first article. It really means a lot.

For this article, I will be discussing about an important matter that most of us (including myself) tend to neglect. Self-Love

I want to start this off with a Bible verse:

Mark 12:31

"The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these.”"

It speaks for itself right? The question is, how will you be able to love others if you can't even learn to love yourself? Not all of us realize this but loving oneself is actually very hard for most of us. Why? We tend to let ourselves get caught up with our doubts, insecurities, mood swings, unjust criticisms and expectations from other people. Having to deal with these problems are quite nerve-wrecking but at some point, we have to realize that we shouldn't let those things get the best of us. We really shouldn't.

Yes, I know it's easier said than done. But hey, you gotta start somewhere right?

I was browsing through Facebook when I stumbled upon a shared post by one of my friends. I am the type of person who likes seeing and reading quotations. It gives me that extra push to get things done. If any of you agrees with me, *virtual high-five*. Nowadays, Facebook has a lot of it. Some are what we call "Hugot" (which I'm not gonna lie, I also find them very funny and interesting), and most of them are motivational. It's technically about self-care but you get the point right? So here is the picture:

Some of you might have already seen this but for those who haven't, these steps are very helpful and if taken seriously can make a big difference to anyone. If you put your heart and mind to it, start making it a habit and continuously pray about it to God. Slowly but surely, how you feel about yourself will change to something positive. It's gonna be a long Hawaiian roller coaster ride but trust me, it will be worth it. ;)

Oh and ONE LAST REMINDER. As long as you are not stepping on ANYONE for being happy then you're good. Keep doing what you're doing. :)

I hope I was able to shed some sort of light to this for anyone who read this. Even just a little. =)

Talk to you in my next blog!
